WHAT P0011 MEANS

P0011 means the Optima Bank 1 intake cam remained more advanced than commanded or failed CVVT performance. Confirm engine and bank, save desired/actual intake angle and correlation companions, verify oil, filter and pressure, then test the intake OCV, wiring and cam response. A restricted passage, sticking phaser, mechanical indexing or signal fault can imitate the valve. Hybrid, turbo, Theta, Nu and older V6 engines require their own KGIS procedures and learning.

CVVT, high-pressure fuel, intake-runner hardware, catalyst banks, EVAP layout and KSDS campaign coverage change by year and engine.
