Bank identification prevents a service-created fault
On V6 trucks, verify the bank containing cylinder 1 and follow the harness to the downstream sensor. Exhaust work can cross or stretch connectors.
On four-cylinders there is one bank, but upstream and downstream connectors can still be confused.
