Graph command and actual angle before disassembly. Those data prevent a normal sensor from being blamed for accurately reporting an out-of-time camshaft.
Recent repair history changes the opening tests
After chain, head or engine work, verify timing marks with the correct procedure, connector identity, grounds and any learned-value initialization. Do not assume a new part was installed correctly.
