WHAT P0520 MEANS

P0520 says the PCM distrusts oil-pressure sensor circuitry, not that pressure is safe. Stop for warning/noise, verify oil/filter/leaks, compare a mechanical gauge with scan data, then test reference, ground, signal and connector. Bulletin 18-034-14 Rev. A lists 2013–2014 DS Ram 1500 for a revised sensor branch with VIN/RRT verification. HEMI, Pentastar and EcoDiesel pressure specifications and sensor access differ.
