WHAT P0128 MEANS

P0128 means coolant stayed below the PCM's modeled regulation range. After an overnight soak, ECT and IAT should be close to ambient; a large mismatch points to sensing before thermostat. Graph ECT with time, speed, load, fan command and front/rear heater demand. A stuck-open or wrong thermostat is common, but low coolant, trapped air, a cold-biased sensor or unwanted fan operation can duplicate the code. Rear HVAC heat removal makes Odyssey warm-up comparisons particularly dependent on recorded settings.
